college.bible is a project of of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA, a vibrant campus ministry that establishes and advances witnessing communities of students and faculty on college and university campuses all over the U.S. With 985 chapters on 650 campuses and over 41,000 core participants, we minister to students and faculty through small group Bible studies, large gatherings on campus, leadership training, thoughtful discipleship, and life-changing conferences and events.
Since our official start as an organization in 1941, the Bible and inductive Bible study have been at the core of who we are. We’ve seen God transform thousands of students and faculty through his Word over the years, drawing them into relationships with him, giving them his love for the rest of their campus, and transforming them into fully devoted lifelong disciples of Jesus. And we ourselves continue to be transformed by the Word of God as we study it, teach it, and strive to obey it.
We know that the university world doesn’t necessarily share our love for the Bible. But we are confident that the Bible can stand up to the challenges posed in the classroom or the cafeteria. Towards that end, we’ll be posting some great resources in the coming months that will help you wrestle with the questions you and your friends have about the Bible.
